About ClosedDoor
Property should work for people, not platforms
ClosedDoor was built because the Australian property market had a gap: motivated buyers and sellers who wanted to connect privately, without open homes, marketing campaigns, or commission pressure.
Our mission
We set out to build the simplest possible way for a buyer to say "I want to buy in this suburb" and for a seller to say "I'm thinking about selling" — and let the two find each other without anyone in the middle taking a cut.
Off-market property transactions already happen every day. They happen through word of mouth, through agents' little black books, through quiet conversations at dinner parties. We just built the infrastructure so that any buyer and any seller can access the same thing.
When you're ready for legal and professional support, we encourage you to engage licensed agents, conveyancers, and solicitors. ClosedDoor facilitates the introduction — the rest is up to you.
What we stand for
Four principles that shape everything we build
Privacy First
Your personal information is never shared without your consent. Sellers can list dormant properties that stay hidden until they approve each match.
Radical Transparency
All offers are structured as non-binding Letters of Intent so every party knows exactly where they stand. No hidden agendas.
Simplicity
Property transactions are complex enough. We remove unnecessary friction so buyers and sellers can connect quickly and move forward on their own terms.
People Over Commissions
ClosedDoor is free for buyers and sellers. We believe direct connections should be accessible to everyone, not gated behind agent fees.
