By using ClosedDoor, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before creating an account or using any platform features.

1. Platform purpose

ClosedDoor is a technology platform that facilitates introductions between property buyers and sellers in Australia. We are not a licensed real estate agent, conveyancer, or legal advisor. Any match or conversation facilitated through the platform does not constitute a binding agreement.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older and a resident of Australia to use ClosedDoor. By registering, you confirm these conditions are met.

3. Non-binding nature of offers

All offers submitted through ClosedDoor are non-binding Letters of Intent. They do not constitute a legally binding contract to buy or sell a property. Formal contracts must be prepared and executed off-platform by licensed solicitors or conveyancers.

4. User responsibilities

  • You must provide accurate and truthful information about yourself and your property
  • You must not use the platform for fraudulent, misleading, or harmful purposes
  • You must not contact other users outside the platform without their consent
  • You are responsible for conducting your own due diligence on any property or buyer

5. Listing accuracy

Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of all listing information. ClosedDoor does not verify property details, title, or ownership. Buyers should conduct independent due diligence.

6. Fees

Platform access for buyers and sellers is free. Optional paid features (agent unlock, price reveal) are charged at the rates displayed on our Pricing page. All fees are in AUD and include GST where applicable.

7. Limitation of liability

ClosedDoor is not liable for any loss or damage arising from transactions entered into between buyers and sellers. We make no warranty regarding the suitability of any listing, the accuracy of buyer information, or the outcome of any negotiation.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms, engages in fraudulent activity, or harms other users of the platform.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Victorian courts.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
